Taking your Colorado traffic school online is definitely a less painful way to complete your ticket dismissal requirements than taking a classroom-based course. Online traffic school is boring enough, let alone sitting next to a bunch of strangers while some driving instructor lectures you.
If you’re not already aware, when you take an online traffic school you are allowed to log in and out whenever you want. That means, you can complete the course all at once or in small chunks. Of course, you probably already know taking your Colorado traffic school online is the best way to go. The question is, who do you sign up with?
Legit Online Traffic Schools in Colorado
Luckily for you, I have nothing significant going on in my life, so I’ve personally gone through several driving courses to see which ones are legit and which ones are awful. Not only have I created online driving courses myself, but I am a former long-haul trucker and certified driving instructor. So I may know a thing or two about the best online traffic schools.
For the state of Colorado, I only recommend a few online traffic schools. It is my recommendation that you only use one of the below courses. I have reviewed and gone through them personally.
The below-driving classes made my list because I was satisfied with their price, course quality, speed of the course, customer service, user satisfaction, pass rate, and just generally thought they were better than the rest. Any of them will probably work fine for you (they are all state-certified, have been around for a while, etc).
Fair Warning!
I just want to give you a fair warning about this… Just because I’ve recommended a certain online traffic school doesn’t mean you’re going to have a fun time with it. Traffic school is boring, online and off. In my opinion, the courses I recommend are the most tolerable of them all.
My Recommended Colorado Online Traffic Schools
My top pick: iDriveSafely.com
Why I recommend them: For starters, this is the fastest course allowed by the state of Colorado. Right there, it won some major points with me. You can stop and start the course whenever you want and do it from any computer (it’s mobile friendly, too). The graphics and animations are high quality, the audio read-along feature sounds clear, and I found it to be really easy to use. Oh, and this is pretty cool – you can’t fail it. They won’t let you! Once you get to the “final exam” you can just keep taking it over and over again until you pass. Hard to argue with that. This company has been around for more than a decade now and has had nearly 5-million people use the course, so it’s not like this is some start-up company out of somebody’s garage. They even have 24/7 phone, chat, and email support if you need it.
What sealed the deal for me is you can start the course for free without giving them any payment information. Sure, they offer a money back guarantee, but anyone can do that. Actually being able to start the course without giving them a credit card number? That’s cool.
My second choice: GoToTrafficSchool.com
Why I recommend them: While the GoToTrafficSchool course isn’t the highest quality course around, there’s one big factor here… Price! They guarantee to be the lowest price course you’ll find, otherwise they will match or beat the competitor’s price. In spite of their low pricing, you still get access to 24/7/365 customer support via chat, phone, or email. They also have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and more than 1-million people have taken the course. They do skimp out a little bit on the animations, and it doesn’t “look” as good as some other courses, but if you don’t care about that and want to spend fewer bucks, this is the course you want. Oh, and you can start this course for free, too.

My third choice: The Online Traffic School, Inc.
The Online Traffic School, Inc. has been around since 1996 and they are definitely one of the most respectable Colorado traffic schools you can take online. The good thing is, even though they were started way back in 1996, they’ve kept up with the times.
The Online Traffic School, Inc. has classroom, home-study, and online programs that can accommodate every type of learner. Whatever your learning style, you can surely find what you need here.
The courses are 8-hours long, but you’re free to break those down as you need. (I suspect you have other responsibilities to meet besides completing your traffic school hours.) This flexibility can be extremely advantageous to students with a limited amount of time to study.
You can even download one of their apps now and complete your traffic school from your smartphone or tablet. This school has an excellent online reputation and has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
This is definitely a school worth considering.
You aren’t easy to please! But feel free to check out all of my online traffic school reviews for even more options.
My final choice: Improv Traffic School
Improv Traffic School is quite unlike your typical traffic school. This is because it was born from the collaboration of improve comedy writers and licensed traffic school officials! I know — it’s quite the unlikely combination but that’s what makes them a great online traffic school. You’ll be able to learn safe driving while having a good laugh!
Whether you’re trying to get rid of a moving violation, reduce your auto insurance premiums, or complete employment requirements, the Improv Traffic School course can help.
Note: For moving violation dismissals, you’ll need to get permission from your court handler and DMV to take the Improv Traffic School program.
Their classes are completely online, plus they have a dedicated app where you can access all your lessons and study materials anywhere and anytime you prefer. Once you’ve completed the program, your completion certificate will be processed and sent to you in 30 minutes.
