In some states, like California, you can get it done very fast as the state of California does not require a “course timer” to be used.
So basically, you can finish your iDriveSafely traffic school in an hour or two. For others states, like Texas, a course timer is required for your defensive driving course. This slows things down dramatically as you must spend a full 6 hours going through the course. Each page is timed accordingly. Super annoying? Yes, but it’s a state requirement.
For Drivers Ed – DriversEd.com is similar in that they meet minimum state requirements for their online drivers ed programs.
