Let’s start with the good stuff.
Pros #1: VERY Modern Interface
Because this school is so new, you can expect a fresh interface.
You’ll find everything easy to find and easy to follow.
And not only the interface but the lessons as well!
Instead of giving you a HUGE wall of text the way some older schools would, Best Online Traffic School makes reading easy with lots of white space.
You’ll also find several images scattered across the course to help you visualize what you’re reading better.
Now…
I know you’re only taking traffic school to get over it (and most of the time, not to actually learn).
But having a nice course to study while doing so makes the experience less painful.

You don’t need to pay a dime when you sign up.
Neither do you have to give any of your credit card details!

You’ll only have to pay once you pass the final exam.

One of the things that I HATE about some California online traffic schools is that they have timers.
You want to get rid of your ticket as fast as possible.
Barely anyone cares about learning what’s on the material. Right?
Well, in some courses, there are mandatory timers – FORCING you to spend hours on the course.
To make matters worse, course timers aren’t even mandatory in California (unlike in a state like Texas, where everybody must have them).
Well, with Best Online Traffic School, this is not something you have to worry about!
You can study for as long or as quickly as you want!
Heck, if you already know the answers, you can skip right through a chapter and just take the quiz at the end.
Pros #4: Voice-Over Available
Don’t wanna read but still wanna learn?
Well, Best Online Traffic School lets you listen to the lessons instead of reading them.
Every lesson has an audio version; all you have to do is click on it to play.
Now, I’ll be honest.
Since there are no timers, listening to everything instead of reading will take longer.
And when all you want is to get rid of a ticket, you’ll probably want to be as fast as possible.
Nonetheless, if you’re someone who listens to audiobooks or podcasts in the car already, you can swap it out for this one instead.
Pros #5: Available in Spanish and Chinese
If English isn’t your first language, you’ll like this one.
Best Online Traffic School is the only online traffic school in California that’s available in both Spanish and Chinese!
Now, I don’t speak either one, so this isn’t something I would personally benefit from.
But given that there are so many Spanish and Chinese speakers in California, this is a great way for them to get into traffic school!
They even have these languages for the voice-over feature as well.

There aren’t many bad things to say about this traffic school.
However, there are a few things that you should know!
Cons #1: Only Available in California
Sorry to the rest of the country!
Best Online Traffic School is currently only available in California.
However, they are also working on a driver’s ed course for Florida (and California).
But aside from that, this is a California-only traffic school.
It’s a con, but you’ll find that this isn’t a big problem at all.
Cons #2: Not the Cheapest
At $19.99, Best Online Traffic School is quite a bargain.
However, it’s not exactly the cheapest one out there.
In our experience, you can get traffic school for as low as $17 – although the course is nowhere near as nice as this school’s.
It’s also only about a $3 difference, so once again, this is not a big con (unless you’re on a super tight budget!).

Cheap traffic school is great.
But it doesn’t exactly remove all the stress that comes along with getting rid of a ticket.
However, Best Online Traffic School promises to eliminate that with their Ultimate Peace of Mind Service.
When you pick this up, you’ll get notifications when your course is submitted, processed, and closed depending on your court.
They will do all that so that you can just continue living your life the way you normally would.
The price of this service depends on the level of service that Best Online Traffic School can provide for you.

Some courts require a printed certificate of completion.
So while you always get an electronic copy (and Best Online Traffic School will send one to your court and DMV automatically), you can also order a printed version.

All in all, I’d say that this school is quite true to its name.
It is easily one of the better online traffic schools out there.
But if you’re looking for alternatives, here are a few!
GoToTrafficSchool (Cheaper)
If you’re looking for the cheapest online traffic school, that would be GoToTrafficSchool.
GoToTrafficSchool’s platform is nearly as nice and modern as Best Online Traffic School’s.
But their whole point is that they’re the cheapest option you can get.
Their base price for California is $18.95, but you can get that at $17.95 if you manage to find a school that’s cheaper than theirs!
Improv Traffic School (Funnier)
Traffic school is boring.
That’s why some companies try to make their courses a bit more light-hearted.
The best when it comes to this is Improv Traffic School.
Owned by the Improv Comedy Club, you can expect a bunch of jokes sprinkled into the regular coursework here.
Some people find it cheesy, while others appreciate that it isn’t as serious as some of the other traffic schools out there.
IDriveSafely (Available in More States)
IDriveSafely is one of the most far-reaching online traffic schools.
They’re available in 46 states!
My main issue with their California course though is that there is a course timer (when there doesn’t need to be one!).
But if you’re from another state, this is one of the most popular alternatives that you can go for.
Conclusion: Is Best Online Traffic School The Best Online Traffic School?
In conclusion, Best Online Traffic School easily has one of the best online traffic school courses!
Whether it’s better than everything else is hard to say, and I still find it funny that they named themselves “Best Online Traffic School.”
Talk about confidence! 😂
