Get That Ticket Dismissed Comedy-Style With The Best Online Traffic School In Texas

Here’s the scenario: You’re driving around the beautiful state of Texas, minding your own business, when an officer pulls you over – you were speeding. He gives you a ticket, and you begrudgingly make your court date when it comes, hoping for a break.

Instead of a break, however, they tell you that you can either pay your ticket or take a court-mandated traffic school course to get the ticket dismissed. While traffic school is no picnic, you aren’t able to pay for the ticket, so you take that option.

Now you’re on the lookout for a cheap, easy online traffic school that meets the requirements set by the state of Texas, wanting to get it over with as soon as possible.

How Long Does It Take?

In Texas, the minimum requirement for traffic school is six hours. Due to this, the course will take six hours to complete, and implements the use of timers in order to ensure that you’re getting that time in.

Fortunately, once you finish each section, you can entertain yourself with the videos they provide to pass the time until the timer runs out, and then you can move on to the next section.

They also allow you to take the course at your own pace, so if you need to take a break (because, let’s face it, no matter how much humor they throw in there, it’s still traffic school), you can save your progress and come back to it at a later time.

How Does It Work?

Improv’s course is broken up into ten sections. In a way, this is convenient, because the timers are only there for each section once, so if you need to go back to re-evaluate something, you don’t have to wait for it to finish counting down again.

At the end of each section you will be met with a quiz that you have to pass in order to move to the next section, but don’t worry; most of the questions are only a couple of questions long, and if you happen to fail the quiz, you can go back and review the section and retake the quiz.

Be warned, however; the questions cycle, so you won’t get the same two questions again. At the end of the course is the final exam. This exam consists of twenty questions, and in order to pass the course, you have to make at least a 70 (that’s getting fourteen or more questions right).

As long as you do that, they’ll send you two copies of your completion certificate – one for the court, and one for the insurance company – and you’re good to go.

They also have an option to provide you with your driving record, in the event that the court issuing the course requires you to submit both the certificate and your driving record in order to clear the ticket.

What If I Fail The Course?

While Improv makes it nearly impossible to fail the course, there are three things that can happen. Firstly, if you fail the exam the first time, you can retake it twice more without any extra charge.

If you fail after three attempts, you’ve failed the course and will have to pay for your ticket. The same goes for getting less than a 70 on the exam. Throughout the course, they will also make you answer ten personal validation questions (these are to ensure that it’s you taking the course, and not someone taking it for you), and missing more than three of these will automatically fail you out of the course as well.

In Texas, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) states that you’re not eligible for a refund if you fail the course, but you can sign up to take it again from the beginning.
