Oklahoma Traffic School Reviews

Oklahoma traffic schools have found their way to the internet. And you know what? That’s pretty cool, especially if you need to take a defensive driving course because of a traffic ticket.

But hold on a second, there’s just one problem. With everything else online, you need to be careful. Some of the online Oklahoma driving schools are low quality, low budget, or simply outright scams. So be very careful with which online driving school you choose.

These online Oklahoma driving schools are legit

Since I have no life other than this website, I’ve sacrificed my sanity and have taken a bunch of defensive driving classes on the internet. That way I can help you, my valued Oklahoma web surfer. I’ve combed through all the BS Oklahoma driving schools and narrowed it down to just two. Why only two? Because they are the only online traffic schools that meet my standards on price, state certification, course quality, and a bunch of other boring crap you don’t feel like researching.

Warning: I’m tellin’ you… Don’t sign up for any online driving course besides what I listed below. If you do, it’s going to be a crappy low budget course or a total scam. I warned you!

Note: Some jurisdictions in Oklahoma don’t allow you to fulfill your driving school requirements online. The below schools will verify that you’re eligible (other schools just take your money and run!).

  • Simple to navigate.
  • Unlimited attempts to pass the final exam (nope, you can’t fail this one either!).

Oklahoma Online Traffic School FAQs

Below are some of the most commonly asked questions regarding online traffic schools in Oklahoma.

Are there any ‌requirements‌ ‌to take ‌traffic‌ ‌schools‌ ‌in‌ ‌Oklahoma?‌ ‌

If you’re taking this course voluntarily, there won’t be any requirements needed. The state of Oklahoma is encouraging drivers to take driver improvement courses to practice safe driving and correct bad driving behavior.

Meanwhile, if you are taking the course to get rid of traffic citations, you must contact the Oklahoma DMV or seek permission from your issuing court first to check if you’re eligible.

How long does it take to complete an Oklahoma driver improvement course?

You need to complete a 6-hour driver improvement training course if you want to qualify for a traffic citation dismissal. This is required by the Oklahoma DMV. Some courses can take up to 8 hours of your time, depending on what course you take.

Is it better to take a driver improvement course online or in-person?

The answer to this question depends on your learning style. If you’re comfortable learning on your own, online classes are ideal because of their convenience and affordability. You can take the course from the comfort of your home, without having to drive to and from school. You also have the leeway to take the course whenever you feel like doing it, with no pressure.

However, some students prefer having interactions with their classmates and need an instructor probing them to complete the lessons. So if you’re this type of student, better take in-person classes (or you may opt for online Livestream classes, if you want).

How can I reduce points added to my driving record in Oklahoma?

Aside from completing driver improvement courses, the state of Oklahoma can remove up to two points from your driving record if you complete 12 consecutive months without committing any traffic violations.
