Finding an online traffic school or drivers education program isn't easy. Whether you got a traffic ticket, have a teen who is taking a home school drivers ed course, or are looking for an insurance discount, there's a ton to choose from! I noticed there are no websites that review online driving schools so I decided to create one. This website does not operate any driving schools of its own. Rather, I have gone through a bunch of these classes to review them and simply recommend the best ones to you.
First of all, yes, my life is so boring that I spend my time reviewing online driving schools. I'll explain what's in it for me a bit later (if you care) but for now, let me tell you how I performed these reviews.
If you don't feel like reading all of this and trust my judgment, simply skip down to the online driving school reviews by clicking here.
Step One - Research!
So here's what I did for ya. I searched in Google for all the best online traffic schools, drivers ed courses, and defensive driving classes I could find. I made a list of the schools and started checking them out. I figured out how long they've been around (some scammers open "online driving schools" under different names all the time), I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website, I made sure they had secure payment processing, and all that other good stuff. That shortened the list a bit.
Step Two - Personally Taking the Course
I told you my life was boring. But yeah, I actually took the course for myself. Most of the online traffic schools you can take all the way until the final exam for free. So I figured, why not just take them myself and report on my findings?
Boring? Yes. Useful for you? Yes. You're welcome.
Step Three - Creating The Recommendation List
Most of the online traffic schools I reviewed didn't make the list. In fact, I have a pretty short list. If you check out my online traffic schools by state section, most states only have 2 or 3 recommendations. Fact is, most of them just plain suck! But a few of them, like the iDriveSafely course, are pretty decent.
WARNING!!!! Ok, before anybody yells at me, I gotta warn you. Just because I recommend a certain online driving school does not mean it's going to be fun and exciting. Traffic school, whether it's online or in a stuffy classroom on a Saturday, just plain sucks. That's the way it is. But the schools I reviewed are simply the best ones. Taking online traffic school is a necessary evil. Don't expect it to be a wonderful time. It's not, and that's not what my recommendation means.
What, you don't think I take these boring online defensive driving courses out of the goodness of my heart? C'mon!
Ok, fine, you're right. I do get a little something out of it, even though it isn't much. I make money off of advertising. Every now and then throughout my site, you'll see little advertisements. There's one on the very top of this page, actually. Sometimes people click on those and I actually make money from it. That's why I've spent my time writing all these reviews on such a terrible topic. I do get a couple dollars here and there (woo hoo!).
A little favor, please?
Since I'm sacrificing myself and taking all of these online traffic schools for you, can you just do me one little tiny favor? You see, I'm not very good at building websites. This site might look ok, but compared to corporations and professional spammer sites I don't stand a chance. So here's my plea...
For the schools I recommend, if you want to check them out, can you click the links leading into their website instead of copying and pasting the address into your web browser? Reason being, Google and the major search engines like it when people click links on the site. The more clicks I get, the more Google likes me. It helps me rank higher in the search engines, which brings in more traffic, which increases my ad revenues, which keeps me motivated to keep reviewing these awful online driving schools. I would really, really appreciate it!!
Alright, enough of my blabbing. Check out the lists below and go from there. We'll have you enrolled in a thrilling online traffic school in no time!
