Aceable driverâs ed is a small Austin startup founded by Blake Garrett in 2013.
Yes, Aceable is one of the newbies in the industry, but hey, donât look down on this online driverâs ed. Despite being new, they have already served over 30,000 teen and adult drivers.Â
So, what are the steps that you need to follow to get started with Aceableâs Online Driverâs Ed?
Aceableâs initial sign-up is easy enough; it will only take around five minutes of your time.
First, you need to visit their website and choose Driverâs Ed. Youâll be asked to choose your state from the drop-down button. Click on it and youâll be directed to the sign-up page for that state. Click sign up and enter the required information. This process only takes a few minutes.
After signing up, Aceable will need to verify your identity through voice authentication. They will call you on the phone number you have added and ask you to say a certain phrase several times. They will record this and use it as a basis to authenticate your identity. They will have to call several times throughout the course just to be sure that you are the one taking the lessons.
As with any other online education provider, youâll go through a brief overview of the course outline, setting expectations and objectives before you jump into the driving lessons.
Once done, youâll be introduced to Ace, their robot mascot who will act as your âinstructorâ. Ace will guide you as you complete the entire program.
